How do I import my own books?
Import DRM-free EPUBs and PDFs through the in-app file picker, or share supported files and article links to LoudReader. Scanned PDFs can use on-device text recognition; check the extracted reading order before listening.
Which voices are available?
LoudReader offers 23 studio narrators across 10 languages. Available voices depend on your device; check the in-app voice list. In the picker, the voice list follows languages in your library or languages you choose in Settings. Try every available voice for your first 8 hours of listening. Afterwards, keep a free English voice selection and unlimited book listening. No LoudReader account or word quota. Choose Stella or Rio as your free English voice; supported devices also keep Bella. Premium keeps the full available selection and adds adjustable playback speed from 0.3x to 3.0x.
Can I make a narrator out of my own voice?
Record about ten seconds of clear speech to create a narrator on your device. Use your own voice or a recording you have permission to use. Voice files are stored locally, and deleting a clone removes its saved files. You can create up to three voice clones during the all-voices trial. Continued use after the trial requires Premium.
Does the app work offline?
Speech is generated locally, so books and voices already available on the device can be used offline. Check your chosen book and narrator before travelling. Downloads, web articles, purchases and app diagnostics or analytics can use the network; see our privacy policy for details.
How do I manage my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to Settings > Your Name > Subscriptions on your device to view, change, or cancel your subscription.
How do I request a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund for any purchase.
Is my data private?
Absolutely. LoudReader does not collect any personal data. All your books, notes, and reading progress stay on your device. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
