How do I import my own books?

You can import EPUB files directly from the Files app, Safari downloads, or any app that supports sharing. Just tap the share button and select LoudReader, or use the import button within the app.

Which voices are available?

LoudReader offers 23 studio narrators across 10 languages — 11 in English, 4 in Spanish, and one each in German, French, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Swedish and Danish. Narrators for a language appear once you have a book in that language, which keeps the picker short. Every voice is free to try for your first 8 hours of listening — after that, free users keep one natural offline voice, while Premium keeps all 23 unlocked plus adjustable playback speed from 0.3x to 3.0x.

Can I make a narrator out of my own voice?

Yes. Voice Studio asks you to read one short paragraph aloud — about thirty seconds — and builds a narrator from that recording. The audio, the model and the finished voice stay on your device; deleting the voice deletes the files. Voice cloning is part of Premium.

Does the app work offline?

Yes! LoudReader works entirely offline. All text-to-speech processing happens on your device in real time - no internet connection is needed to read or listen to your books.

How do I manage my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to Settings > Your Name > Subscriptions on your device to view, change, or cancel your subscription.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund for any purchase.

Is my data private?

Absolutely. LoudReader does not collect any personal data. All your books, notes, and reading progress stay on your device. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
